Vote NO on B

“B” is for Billionaires

Join an unprecedented coalition of community organizations, elected officials, environmentalists, affordable housing advocates, veterans, seniors and concerned residents who oppose Measure B. Measure B won’t result in more affordable housing. It’s a giveaway to billionaire developers that will transform undeveloped hillside into multi-million dollar homes without environmental review or any guarantee of housing for veterans.

Measure B:

Costs San Jose’s Taxpayers
This sprawl in our hillsides will drain the San Jose budget $24.5 million a year, reducing services such as police, fire, libraries, and parks to the rest of the City

Makes Housing Less Affordable
Developers who wrote the measure watered down the City’s affordable housing requirements on their project—to benefit their own pockets, while they build a gated community of luxury homes

Increases Traffic on Our Roads
These developers exempted themselves from paying the standard fees for road improvement and repair

Harms the Environment
Developers who wrote Measure B seek to convert 200 acres of undeveloped hillside into environment-destroying sprawl

We oppose Measure B
